What’s happening guys, it’s Dan here.
I thought I’d write a bit about myself, and give you all some insight into why I travel in Latin America and decided to create a life of perpetual travel for myself.
Two of my best friends passed away and I was left with many questions about life unanswered. Shortly after I took a random trip to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and discovered more about myself in 2 weeks than the previous 5 years.
I loved Brazil and was able to connect with the culture instantly. But the connection was weird because I knew I’d always wanted to learn Spanish.
Either way, I was stoked to have gotten my first taste Latin America and I made it my mission to go return and discover more countries.
The first trip back was to Mexico and I was invited to a Mexican Wedding and to live exclusively with a Mexican family for one month in Mexico City. This was right before embarking on a trip to discover the best of Central America.
During that same trip starting in Mexico, I then traveled to Antigua in Guatemala, then from there onto Nicaragua, El Salvador and Costa Rica.
Since my first trip I’ve visited Latin America each and every year. I began to work online as a way to fund my Spanish and cultural studies on the road.
